The journey begins at 8:00 AM in Beirut with a scenic drive to Damascus (around 4 hours, including border crossing). Alternatively, we can greet you directly at Damascus Airport. Upon arrival, settle into a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of Old Damascus.
After a short rest, we set off on a walking tour through the ancient city. We’ll visit the House of Ananias, an underground chapel linked to Saint Paul’s story, and stroll along the historic Straight Street (Via Recta)—a Roman road that is still alive with echoes of faith and empire. Afterward, we relax at Al Nofara, Damascus’s oldest café, where a traditional storyteller brings old legends to life over tea.
Dinner (optional) is served at Nanerj, a beloved restaurant offering an unforgettable first taste of Syria. For those who wish, we’ll explore the nightlife of Damascus—perhaps visiting a hidden speakeasy or experiencing a traditional hammam for an evening scrub.

Day 2: Damascus in Depth – The Soul of an Ancient City
After breakfast, we delve deeper into Damascus, exploring at a gentle pace that allows space for reflection, photography, and genuine human connection. We begin at the National Museum, where ancient relics whisper stories of Syria’s rich and layered past. Then, we visit the Handicraft Market and stroll through the vibrant Souk Al-Hamidiye, where tradition meets daily life in a burst of color and scent.
At the heart of the old city, we visit the majestic Umayyad Mosque and the elegant Azem Palace, both standing as symbols of spiritual and artistic heritage.
In the afternoon, we make a sobering visit to Eastern Ghouta, bearing witness to the recent tragedies and the resilience of the Syrian people.
As the sun begins to set, we ascend Mount Qasioun for a sweeping view of Damascus, with its domes and rooftops glowing in golden light. The evening is yours to explore: discover a vibrant corner of the city or relax with tea and quiet moments in the old town.

Day 3: From Damascus to Aleppo via Saidnaya, Maaloula & Homs – From Faith to Resilience
After breakfast, we depart from Damascus and embark on an enriching day of travel through mountain villages and war-touched cities, witnessing Syria’s deep spiritual roots and modern history.
Our first visit is to the October War Panorama Museum, offering vivid insight into Syria’s role in the 1973 conflict. We then make a solemn stop at the exterior of Saydnaya Prison, a former site of political imprisonment—silent yet heavy with memory.
Next, we arrive at Maaloula, a stunning Christian village clinging to the cliffs. Although it suffered significant damage from ISIS in 2014, it remains one of Syria’s most iconic places. It’s also the only place on Earth where Aramaic, the language spoken by Christ, is still used in everyday life.
Continuing north, we arrive in Homs, a city devastated by years of war. Here we visit the impressive Khaled Ibn Al-Walid Mosque and stroll through parts of the Old City, where resilience echoes through its ruined churches and rebuilt streets.
In the late afternoon, we drive to Aleppo, a city as ancient as Damascus and equally rich in history. After checking in at our hotel, we will have the option to enjoy a group dinner at Qurtuba, a cherished Armenian-run restaurant renowned for its authentic cuisine.

Day 4: Exploring Aleppo – Citadel, Souks & Living Traditions
After breakfast, we begin our day with a visit to the magnificent Aleppo Citadel, the city’s iconic fortress rising above the skyline. Its impressive towers, fortified gates, and rich history reflect Aleppo’s centuries of resilience. Next, we stroll through the Old Souk, which was once the largest covered market in the world. As we walk, we witness Aleppo’s transformation—passing through destroyed areas, active reconstruction, and beautifully restored sections full of life.
We stop for a bite at Abu Hagoub, a beloved local spot famous for Aleppo's traditional specialties. Afterward, we continue to the Umayyad Mosque, now nearing the final stages of restoration, where the stone and silence echo centuries of worship.
In the afternoon, we visit the Al-Jubaili Soap Factory, the oldest in the city, where Aleppo's renowned laurel soap is still handcrafted. We will also stop by a nearby exhibition to see the world's largest bar of soap, which holds a Guinness World Record!
We close the day with a sunset at one of Aleppo’s secret panoramic viewpoints before heading to Uncle Hamido’s (optional), a modest yet iconic eatery renowned for what many claim is the best falafel in the country.

Day 5: Idlib, Hama & Krak des Chevaliers – Tracing the Soul of Syria
We begin the day in Idlib, a place that was once isolated but is now slowly revealing its stories—raw, resilient, and authentic. This offers a rare glimpse into Syria beyond the tourist map.
In Hama, the ancient norias still turn slowly beside the Orontes River, these wooden giants whispering tales of water and time. Next, we explore the formidable Krak des Chevaliers, a fortress frozen in history. Its massive stone walls and panoramic views resonate with legends of knights and crusades.
As the afternoon light softens, we descend into the green Homs Valley. A stop at a local winery, renowned for its distinctive blue wine, invites us to savor Syria’s unexpected flavors.
We conclude our journey in Al Mishtaya, a charming Christian village full of charm and energy, where the evening hums with music, laughter, and open hearts.

Day 6: Palmyra – Damascus – The Echoes of Empire in the Desert Heart
After breakfast, we set off early toward Palmyra, which was once the desert crown of the Silk Road and the heart of a short-lived empire under Queen Zenobia in the 3rd century. Although parts of it have been damaged in recent conflicts, Palmyra’s spirit endures. We will explore its most iconic remnants: the Arch of Triumph, the Grand Colonnade, the Roman Theater, the Agora, ancient tombs, and the hilltop castle, which offers sweeping views of the oasis and the ruins below.
Around midday, we will have the chance to enjoy an optional lunch in a traditional Bedouin tent, hosted by a local family. This is a unique chance to savor home-cooked dishes and experience the warmth of desert hospitality firsthand.
In the afternoon, we drive back to Damascus, arriving in time for a relaxed evening and dinner in the capital.

Day 7: Damascus – Bosra al-Sham – Damascus: The Roman Stones and Southern Flavors
After breakfast, we journey south through the fertile plains of southern Syria, where olive groves and farmlands stretch toward the horizon. Our destination is the remarkable city of Bosra al-Sham, which was once a bustling Roman provincial capital and an early center of both Christianity and Islam.
At its heart stands the best-preserved Roman amphitheater in the world—a massive stone structure still intact, silent yet powerful. We will explore the theater, ancient baths, and streets lined with basalt ruins that whisper of centuries gone by.
While in Bosra, you will also have the chance to try the famous Malihi dish, a beloved local specialty renowned for its rich spices and slow-cooked flavor (optional)
In the afternoon, we will return to Damascus, where we will gather for a final evening together—an opportunity to reflect on our journey, share memories, and enjoy the capital one last time.

After breakfast, we will spend the morning exploring the modern side of Damascus, visiting its remaining highlights and enjoying some free time for last-minute shopping in the city’s vibrant markets or quiet cafés.
By midday, we begin our transfer—either a drive to Beirut, aiming to arrive by approximately 6:00 PM, or a drop-off at Damascus International Airport, depending on your departure plans.
With hearts full of cherished memories, we bid farewell to Syria—a land of resilience, beauty, and remarkable stories.
