Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality and destination. While we cannot apply for visas on your behalf, we can provide the necessary documents to support your application. Travelers can check specific visa requirements at the IATA Travel Center, and if a visa is needed, they can apply independently or through a visa processing service or travel agent.

International flights are not included. Our groups are international and all participants take care of arranging flights. Each tour page lists exactly what is included and excluded. However, we’re happy to assist you with flight arrangements—simply request an air quote when booking your trip.

We welcome travelers of all ages and backgrounds on our tours! However, to travel independently, you must be at least 18 years old. We also encourage all participants to review the tour’s difficulty level to ensure it aligns with their abilities. If you have any medical conditions, please inform us in advance so we can assist in making your journey as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Tipping is not included in the tour price and is entirely up to you. However, we provide suggested tipping guidelines in our Trip Details documentation.

Absolutely! Many of our travelers join solo. We offer the option to share rooms with another solo traveler of the same gender (subject to availability)* or to pay a single supplement for a private room.

For privacy reasons, we cannot share details about your fellow travelers in advance. However, our tours attract a diverse group of like-minded adventurers who share a passion for exploration and authentic experiences. Our groups are international, bringing together travelers from different backgrounds, all united by a love for discovering new cultures and embracing the spirit of adventure.

We assign an Activity Level to every trip we operate, which indicates how strenuous the trip will be. Use the Activity Level guidance to choose your perfect adventure from our extensive range, based on your experience, fitness, ability and preference. Our Activity Levels range from Easy to Extreme. The exact details of what you can expect vary by trip type, so we have different descriptions for each programme. As a rule of thumb, every trip except trekking is suitable for almost anyone.

We typically stay in comfortable 3-4 star hotels, boutique guesthouses, and local lodges. Accommodation standards are always clearly described in each itinerary.

Our standard cancellation and refund policies are outlined in our booking conditions. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen events.

We recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance, especially for popular seasons like summer in the Caucasus or spring in Central Asia. 

Yes, a single room supplement is mandatory for solo travelers at the time of booking. However, if you’re open to sharing, we can, upon availability, match you with another traveler of the same sex to help reduce costs If no suitable match is available, the single supplement will apply.
