Overview

From the windswept shores of the Caspian Sea to the sunlit monasteries of Armenia’s Ararat Plain, this journey takes you through the shifting landscapes and timeless cultures of the South Caucasus. In Azerbaijan, you’ll trace ancient fire rituals and Silk Road legends in caravanserais tucked beneath forested hills. Crossing into Georgia, the route winds through vineyard-laden valleys, high mountain passes, and stone villages where time slows down and tradition endures. Finally, Armenia opens with raw beauty and resilient spirit—etched in its cliffside monasteries, vibrant cities, and the ever-present silhouette of Mount Ararat.

This is a journey of encounters: with shepherds in the highlands, grandmothers rolling dough by hand, fire and snow, forgotten shrines, and open roads. It’s designed to move at a human pace, with time to linger and connect—with nature, with history, and with the people who call these lands home. It’s a passage not just through the Caucasus, but also into a deeper understanding of what endures.

  • Monasteries & Traditions in Armenia: Wander Gyumri and rose-stone Yerevan, gaze at Mount Ararat from Khor Virap, and reflect at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial. Visit Etchmiadzin Cathedral, Symphony of Stones, and Garni Temple, where you join a lavash-making workshop, before ending at tranquil Lake Sevan.

Customer Testimonials

Our adventures have transformed the way we travel.

Caucasus Explorer – Experiencing the contrast of vibrant city skylines, the quiet charm of wine country, and the drama of high mountain passes in one journey felt almost unreal. Time in Kazbegi, surrounded by towering peaks and timeless landscapes, was truly unforgettable. In Borjomi, the fresh mountain air and healing springs offered a different kind of magic, while learning the art of baking traditional lavash bread connected us deeply to local culture. The smooth border crossings and the care of the team made the whole adventure flow effortlessly, leaving space for genuine discovery.
