Your experience begins with a transfer from your hotel in Ashgabat to a renowned equestrian center, home to the legendary Akhal-Teke horse—the national symbol of Turkmenistan and one of the world’s oldest and most celebrated horse breeds.

Upon arrival, you will be introduced to these magnificent horses and gain a fascinating insight into their history, breeding, and cultural significance. Learn how they are raised, cared for, and trained, and discover why they remain such an enduring symbol of Turkmen heritage.

Rather than simply riding, you will have the opportunity to connect with your horse. Help feed it, brush its coat, and become familiar with its gentle temperament before preparing it for the ride alongside experienced local horse handlers. You will also learn the basics of saddling and caring for the horse—offering an authentic glimpse into the traditions of Turkmen horsemanship.

Once you are ready, set off on a guided ride around the equestrian grounds. Whether you are an experienced rider or mounting a horse for the first time, the pace and instruction will be adapted to your level, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

After the ride, extend the experience by unsaddling and grooming your horse while learning about its post-exercise care—completing a hands-on journey that goes well beyond a typical riding excursion.
