Day 1: Arrival in Skopje – Welcome to North Macedonia!

Upon arrival at Skopje International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your guide, who will assist you with your transfer and hotel check-in. Relax and settle into the comfort of your hotel after your journey. After check-in, take some time to rest and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead through the heart of the Balkans.

Breakfast at the hotel. Start the day with a visit to the Tunnel of Hope, one of the most important structures during the Bosnian War. Explore the museum and watch a documentary about the Siege of Sarajevo from 1992 to 1995.

After the visit, proceed to the Old Town, Bascarsija. Enjoy a relaxed walking tour, visiting key landmarks such as the City Hall (Vijecnica), the Coppersmith Street, the Brusa Bezistan market, the Clock Tower, and the Gazi Husrev-Bey Mosque and Madrasa. Visit the Latin Bridge, the historical site where the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand took place, triggering World War I.
